               (angrily)
      Fine.  We'll leave you to your hats.
      Coming, Etta?

ETTA pulls a look of anxious concern back to DOROTHY before reluctantly following VIVIAN toward the door.

      Maybe it's not a good idea to leave 
      her by herself.
 
                        VIVIAN

      few hard knocks to learn their lesson.
