       The State Department won't grant us 
       clearance to travel anywhere in       
       Europe.  So there go the dates in
       Scotland and Ireland and…

       …Scandinavia.  Do you hear that,
       little brother?

He turns to HAROLD who continues gazing out the window, unmoved by the turn of events.  FAYARD opens his mouth to say something to him but changes his mind.

       Our pal, "The Great Dictator," Has
       been causing quite the ruckus over 
       there.  One of his U-boats torpedoed 
       the HMS Exmouth last Sunday.

       Hitler!  Somebody oughta torpedo his 
       goose-stepping ass!
