The monumental State, War, and Navy Building, commonly referred to as the Peacock of Pennsylvania Avenue.  (It is now the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.)  

GERI, wearing a brown fur coat and matching fur hat, exits the building and walks toward the midnight blue CADILLAC FLEETWOOD LIMOUSINE parked at the curb.

MAURICE, immaculately uniformed, complete with puttees, holds opened the limo door as GERI climbs into the rear compartment.
