                        HAROLD
       Then why the cold shoulder?
 
                        DOTTIE
       Perhaps it has something to do with 
       the tropical heatwave we're experiencing.
 
                        HAROLD
       So I guess this is the last opportunity 
       I'll have to talk to you before you go 
       on the road with Jimmie Dee?
 
                        DOTTIE
       You guess right.  And your minute is up.
 
                        HAROLD
       That must've been a New York minute.
 
                        DOTTIE
       Goodbye.

She turns and walks away.  HAROLD stands still.  He calls out to her:

                        HAROLD
       You know what, Dottie?  I'm gonna     
       miss you like crazy.

DOTTIE stops on a dime and turns to him in anger and utter disbelief. 

                        DOTTIE
       Miss me like crazy?!
