                      AUNTIE MAMA
       If I've told her once I've told her
       a hundred times that you three were 
       always to stick together when you're 
       out-and-about.  And what does that
       child go and do…?
 
                        VIVIAN
       We tried our best to get her to leave 
       with us, Auntie Mama, but she wouldn't 
       listen.
 
                      AUNTIE MAMA
       No. Because she's so damn stubborn and 
       willful.  I swear to God that I'm so 
       fed up with her nonsense I could smack 
       the taste right out of her mouth!  This
       time that child has taken her foolishness 
       too far.

She crosses the room, inspects herself in the full-length mirror, puts on her hat and pats her hair in place while continuing to speak without missing a beat.

                      AUNTIE MAMA
       And don't let me get started on her
       hogging the spotlight and constantly 
       bragging about how she's going to be 
       a famous movie star someday.  It's 
       high time that she woke up: She's got 
       the wrong complexion with nary a 
       connection.
