DOROTHY pulls a look at HAROLD.  He smiles, sensing his comment has struck a chord deep within her.  

                        HAROLD
       Isn't that so, Dottie?
 
                         GERI
       She sure "acted" her way out of a 
       tight spot.

                       DOROTHY
                (to HAROLD)
       What did you just call me?
 
                        HAROLD
                (smiles)
       "Dottie."  We already have a Dorothy 
       in the family, our sister.  She's a 
       year older than me.

DOROTHY considers.  Then she gives the nickname a sound check.

                       DOROTHY
                (with a sparkling smile)
       Dottie!

EXT. CADILLAC LIMOUSINE—MOVING—HIGH ANGLE. DAY.

The Cadillac limousine cruises majestically through the boulevard traffic like a seagoing schooner.
