I know we’re late.  We're a bunch of  
Music students from U of A and the
drive down from Fayetteville took  
longer than expected—the better part  
of three hours.  We’re humongous fans  
of Jimmie De Lavallade.  Can we still  
get in to see the show?  Please?

ELLIS regards him with grim indifference. A long tense silence lingers in the air.

The WHITE MALE STUDENT bristles impatiently, shifting his weight from one foot to the other.

Finally, ELLIS, a man of some authority inside the Headquarters of the Mosaic Templars, deigns to give his answer.
