BUFORD runs up to DOTTIE, throws his arms around her, lifts her off the floor and whirls her around in a hearty hug.

BUFORD
You did it, Lil Sis!  You really     
gone and did it!  You sure showed 
'em who was the boss!
  
DOTTIE
Are you proud of me?  Am I a good 
student?
  
BUFORD
Best I've ever had.  You're a natural.
  
DOTTIE
Oh, Buford, I was so sure.  Something
came over me…a sensation deep down 
inside of me.  I could feel heat in my
fingertips when I threw the dice.
  
BUFORD
You were on fire!
(to CROWD)
