NOBLE chuckles as he peels off one hundred dollars and lets the bills float onto the miniature billiard table.

I've got a hundred bucks that say
she craps out.

He tosses one hundred dollars onto the table.

PRETTY AL
Me too…
(tosses bills onto
 the table)
That makes three hundred bucks on 
the line, Brother Buford.  Sure you
can handle this action? 

BUFORD and DOTTIE eye each other.  His face is full of doubt, whereas hers is brimming with confidence. 

She is eager to roll the dice, eager to make her point.  She nods to him with a reassuring smile.

BUFORD considers a moment.  Then his eyes travel from NOBLE to SWEET RED to PRETTY AL.

BUFORD

He breaks off three hundred dollars from the wad in his hand, tosses it into the pile of money on the table.
