The moans and wisecracks of the MUSICIANS are HEARD in the background.  DOTTIE turns around looking toward the opposite end of the car.

DOTTIE
They seem to be having a good time.
(sniffs the air)
Hey?  What's that smell?
(notices the smoldering 
 reefer in the ashtray)
What are you smoking?
  
JIMMIE
That, my darling songbird, is what 
is commonly referred to as wacky 
tobacky.  Reefer.
  
DOTTIE
So that's a reefer.
  
JIMMIE
Nature's very own sweet inspiration.

He picks up the reefer while tickling the ivories with his other hand.  He takes a long toke, exhales a cloud of smoke.

JIMMIE
Ahhh.  Mellow as a cello.      
(continues PLAYING)
