DOROTHY’S POV—EXTREME CLOSEUP—of CYRIL sitting in the audience.

DOROTHY blinks, shaking her head, snapping back to reality.

DOROTHY’S POV—a FEMALE TEACHER is sitting in the seat, clapping with the others in the audience.

                    VIVIAN (V.O.)
       What’s the matter with you, Dorothy 
       Jean?  
 
                       DOROTHY
               (turns to VIVIAN)
       Nothing.
 
                       VIVIAN
       You could’ve fooled me.  You acted 
       like you’d just seen Count Dracula,
       sitting out there in the audience.

She opens her mouth wide, bares her teeth, and teasingly feints toward DOROTHY’s neck.  DOROTHY draws back, chuckling.  Then she notices AUNTIE MAMA shooting a fierce glance at them from the piano.

                        DOROTHY
       Focus, Vivee, or we’ll miss our cue.
