       radio broadcasts, during their long

       famed Cotton Club. 

INT. HOWARD THEATRE—STAGE LEFT WINGS. DAY.

DOROTHY watches attentively as HAROLD and FAYARD shake out the kinks, doing deep knee bends, and leg stretches.

       You have marveled at their 
       spellbinding flash dancing, on the 
       Silver Screen, in moving pictures
       such as Kid Millions and The Big
       Broadcast…

HAROLD suddenly spins on a dime and presents himself to FAYARD in an opened arm flourish.  

                        HAROLD
       How am I looking?
 
                        FAYARD
       Smooth as silk.
 
                        HAROLD
       You look pretty spiffy yourself.
