INT. HOWARD THEATRE—STAGE LEFT WINGS. DAY.

The PERFORMERS in the Stage Left Wings, including DOROTHY, are focused on THE NICHOLAS BROTHERS.  They watch them as they meticulously adjust their tailcoats, bow ties, and shoot their shirt cuffs. 

DOROTHY and HAROLD’s eyes meet and hold.  He is taken by surprise when she smiles at him with twinkling brown eyes.  He is won. He returns her smile and makes a sweeping bow.
