       You should be sorry!  I can't
       fathom what got into you.  Thank
       God your mother wasn't here to witness
       your pulling that shameful stunt.     
       To see her daughter, someone who 
       should know better, making such a
       fool of herself onstage. 
                (pause)

       that, Missy?

VIVIAN and ETTA shoot sympathetic glances in DOROTHY’s direction as they dress.  She dresses with a tight smile on her mouth.
